Close up of Lending Library Books

The August Wilson Archive Lending Library supports K-12 educators interested in teaching one of Wilson’s plays. The library consists of all 10 American Century Cycle plays as well as Wilson’s one-man play, How I Learned What I Learned. The plays are available as a classroom set numbering 20 copies per play, available only as a complete set.

To maintain the collection, the educator in charge may only borrow one set at a time. Requirements may vary depending on the school/program, but we would strongly encourage that borrower uses the books in support of classes related to Black history, local history, the writing process, English language and literature, or drama. Please contact Diael Thomas (dit24@pitt.edu) for details.
